Enhancing Cleanliness through Supporting Waste Management

As part of catering to the need of cleanliness and sanitation, GMDC-GVT has provided three garbage tipper tractor trailers to the civic body of Ambaji. In line with this vision, a hydraulic garbage tipper has also been provided to Ravapar Gram Panchayat in Nakhatrana, Kachchh district. This initiative is designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of waste management operations, ensuring that the towns and villages remain clean and hygienic for both residents and visitors.

Addressing the waste management needs of Ambaji, Gujarat

Ambaji is not only a serene and sacred destination but also a bustling hub with a daily footfall of approximately 60,000 visitors and a resident population of around 20,000. The high volume of people creates significant waste management challenges, making efficient and reliable waste collection and disposal systems essential.

The provision of these garbage tipper tractor trailers has brought several benefits to the waste management operations at both the locations, such as improved hygiene, a clean and healthy environment and enhanced efficiency. This project ensured cleaner public spaces and sustained tourism. GMDC-GVT aims to continue the efforts in providing innovative solutions for waste management and other essential services, ensuring sustainable development and improved living standards for all.
